Stunning view of the lake was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the various colors of the lake was a true treat. The location next to the lake and cruise boarding terminal was perfect for exploring the area. The variety of the onsen was impressive and added to the overall relaxation. The hotel was responsive to all my requests and even arranged for a free shuttle to the train station. a wonderful and memorable stay.
The inside slippers provided were of poor quality and difficult to walk with.

During my stay, I enjoyed the beautiful wood carvings that decorated the hotel lobby. The staff were very friendly and polite, and the accommodation was well designed and clean. Additionally, I loved the fact that there were three different onsen areas available for guests to enjoy, including an open-air onsen with a fantastic view. Finally, the location right on the lake was breathtaking and provided some lovely scenery.
No issues.

The stunning lake views from the room and the relaxing onsen were the best aspects of our romantic getaway. We also loved the delicious food offerings, especially the extensive buffet spread and the high-quality massage at the wellness center. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding mountains and park.
The lack of English-speaking staff and the lack of communication regarding typhoon-related announcements. we felt that the meals offered, while plentiful, could have been more interesting and varied.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel next to the beautiful Lake Akan. We were in awe of the gorgeous view from our room's tatami mats. The service was impeccable and we enjoyed dining amidst the Lake natural landscape in the Hapo restaurant. The onsen facilities were some of the best we've experienced, both indoor and outdoor on the deck, with different temperatures and beautiful views of the lake. The hotel also had a big lawn adjacent to the lake, perfect for a stroll.
While the buffet was delicious, the kaiseki dinner was a bit disappointing compared to the high standards of the rest of the hotel as mentioned in another visitor's review.

This place has a great location, right along the lake front. The view from the restaurant is stunning, and I loved being able to take a leisurely stroll along the lake. The service here is top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. They even provided bicycles for hire, which was a fun way to explore the area. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job. The shops within this hotel were convenient, allowing me to easily pick up any snacks or items I needed.
I highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Picturesque location with stunning lake views. Comfortable, spacious room with beautiful sculptures and artwork throughout the hotel. Excellent onsen facilities with multiple options to choose from. The buffet dinner was tasty and offered a great selection. Friendly and attentive staff with a warm welcome upon arrival. Valet parking was a helpful added touch.
The bathroom was small and not very practical for getting ready in the morning. Limited food options in the surrounding area, with most places closing early in the evening.
